HopeFall Happenings – October 2020
And, just like that, it’s fall!
October 6th saw a successful graduation from our Shelter Program. Jessica and her family moved into their apartment with the support of God’s Goods Thrift Store, The Deep Well Project and our wonderful staff. It was an exciting day for everyone. They will now participate in our Staying on Track (aftercare support) Program. We are so proud of the entire family!
On another positive note, Ambrosia is currently working with our Case Manager, Jennifer Coleman, to locate housing so we will look forward to another successful graduation very soon! She is thrilled with her job and her daughter has adjusted well to her new school schedule.
Family Promise of Beaufort County remains ready to continue our mission to provide temporary shelter, family stability and permanent housing solutions for homeless families in need. We also continue to assist those who are at risk of losing their homes by providing rental assistance, where needed. If you know a family who may be experiencing housing insecurities, please suggest they give us a call at (843) 815-4211. We are ready, willing, and able to help!
If you or your friends would like to contribute to the support of the families in our Shelter Program Food Lion gift cards, in small denominations, are always welcome. You can drop them off between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm, Monday ~ Friday. Please remember to wear your mask!
Stay safe and well and be kind to each other!
Ever grateful, your friends at Family Promise Beaufort County.
