We share these success stories because everyone involved with Family Promise has supported our guest families in their effort to move forward with their lives and to remain independent and self-sufficient.

 Michael and Tatyanna

Michael and Tatyanna

For Michael, Tatyanna and their three children, the future looks bright! This family is reaching for the stars. Having completed the program, they moved back to Savannah, GA to an affordable house in a neighborhood where they walk their kids to the park each day. Tatyanna is the Assistant Manager for Dollar General in Bluffton and is on her way to becoming the Store Manager. Mike is the lead mover for a store in Bluffton. Even though they make the drive to South Carolina each day, the loyalty and work ethic they have is priceless.

 Ronald

Ronald

Ronald is doing great! He was our awesome single gentleman who just needed a bit of help to get his life back on track and moving in a positive direction. He is now the lead floor manager for Spartina! Way to go Ronald.

 Ebony

Ebony

Ebony and Jay’el have settled into their comfy apartment in Beaufort. She commutes to Bluffton each day to work at Kids College, a local daycare center. Ebony has been given the opportunity to continue her education to become a certified daycare provider – this gift has been sponsored by Kids College. Jay’el continues to be the fun-loving toddler who continues to happily explore the world around him.

Sharia is doing well. She still works in the Bluffton Wal-Mart. Although she and Tiny no longer live together, they see each other almost daily as they work at the same place! Sharia thanks Family Promise for the knowledge and life skills she gained while in the program. Time management is one of the skills she greatly values. When you are in Wal-Mart, head over to the deli department and say hi. Sharia would be happy to see you!

Tiny and Princess continue to live in Bluffton a year after moving out of the shelter. Tiny has been with Wal-Mart since they opened in Bluffton. She had a minor setback before and after hand surgery, but that did not stop her. She continued to work up until the day of surgery and went back to work two weeks later. Princess is a straight-A student who continues to work toward her dream of becoming a doctor.

 Erin and the boys

Erin and the boys

Erin, Carter, and Carson have recently moved to Florence, SC from Myrtle Beach where Erin landed a new job as the lead pharmacist at Regency Hospital. The boys love their new school and their weekend time with mom! They send hugs and kisses to everyone.
