A native of Chicago, Mary moved to the Lowcountry from Greenville, S.C. 20 years ago. She is a graduate of Northern Illinois University. Mary learned about Family Promise when she volunteered to prepare meals for our guests and has now taken on the role of coordinator at Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Lowcountry. In addition to Family Promise, Mary supports Upendo Village, a project in Africa initiated to respond to the needs of Kenyans living with HIV/AIDS. Mary enjoys being outdoors and is an avid beach goer and sailor.  She enjoys watching baseball, be it professional or little league. She likes to go to spring training, both in Florida and in Arizona.
