Jennifer Coleman
Director of Case Management
As a native of Okatie, South Carolina Jennifer feels it is a privilege to work for an agency such as Family Promise that gives back to the community. As Case Manager, she helps assure that our guest families follow the program guidelines, attend weekly case management sessions and receive training in life skills based on the specific needs of the family. As Case Manager, she continually strives to learn and understand the struggles that homeless families face so she can better assist them in this challenging and stressful time in their lives.
Jennifer lives in Savannah, Georgia with her husband, Anthony, and their two children. When she is not with her family or working for Family Promise, she volunteers as a Victim Advocate for The Rape Crisis Center of the Coastal Empire in Savannah and also feeds the homeless in the Savannah community as well. Jennifer has an Associate of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education, undergraduate degree in Social Work and her Masters in Social Work.
Jennifer says helping others is the best part of her life and she is committed to impacting as many people as possible. “By doing this, I find life to be more meaningful and rewarding! I believe when you help a person in need, they feel the need to help others.”
