Family Promise of Beaufort County Welcomes New Executive Director

March 2024, Beaufort County: We are excited to announce John Trinh has joined the team as our new Executive Director.  John brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that will help lead Family Promise of Beaufort County to new levels in helping achieve our vision that EVERY CHILD WILL HAVE A HOME.  One homeless child is too many.

John is a proven leader with experience in numerous non-profit organizations, and has built, developed, and improved many service-related and workforce development programs.  He has worked with vulnerable populations to assist and support in areas of housing, employment, and education.  John holds a Bachelor’s degree from Empire State University and a Master’s degree from Colgate Rochester Crozier Divinity School. We are confident that under John’s leadership, Family Promise of Beaufort County will continue to thrive and achieve new milestones. We look forward to the exciting opportunities ahead and to keeping you informed of our continued progress.

In 2024, a critical component of our long-term strategy was completed with the purchase of our Freedom House.  The house has provided an immediate upgrade and expansion to the services we provide our homeless families, and it also creates exciting new future opportunities for us to explore.

In 2025, the Board of Trustees will embark on establishing a new set of strategies designed at expanding the number of families served and improving the services we provide to those families, so that no child is without a home.  John’s hire is a key part in moving us forward to that vision.

We appreciate the continued support of our community and stakeholders during this transition and thank you for all the support you have provided Family Promise of Beaufort County.
