Family Promise of Beaufort County
Located in Old Town Bluffton, Family Promise shelters homeless families with children while equipping them with the skills and resources needed for lasting independence. While our program is non-denominational, our families sleep in a network of local host congregations where volunteers provide meals, essential needs, and companionship. Our staff provides comprehensive case management and assistance in securing employment, childcare, school placement and ultimately affordable housing.
We are seeking front desk greeters and adults to stay overnight with our families.
The front desk greeters will work at our Day Center to greet guests, answer phones, and provide clerical support for our staff. Openings are available for either the morning or afternoon shifts Monday – Friday.
Volunteers are needed to stay overnight with our families in our host congregations located in Beaufort, Bluffton, and Hilton Head. Stay once a week, twice a month, or once a month – you decide the area and how often you can assist! Training is provided.
If you are looking for a rewarding volunteer experience, chances are excellent that Family Promise has the perfect opportunity for you. For more information, please contact our Office Manager, Cindy Bobbitt by phone (843) 815-4211 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org. We would not be able to help so many families without your support.
